Got a call on my mobile last Tuesday, but my phone didn’t ring at all. The next day I noticed a missed call from this London number (+442089533695). I decided to check it out today on your site and found lots of people saying it’s a scam. Lucky I didn’t answer and blocked it straight away. Funny thing is, the same evening someone came to my shared flat claiming to be from Careline, but I didn’t let them in. Now I’m wondering if this visit is linked to that phone call? Im pretty sure this number belongs to Kantar. They do market research and have been hired by the UK Government to conduct surveys about various government departments. Not all their calls come out of the blue though. I got a letter a couple weeks before the call telling me about the survey and the option to say no. Yeah, it can be annoying getting a random call, but theres no harm meant like some other calls.

Got a call late in the evening from someone saying they were with DWP doing a survey. I’m on pretty heavy pain meds and other stuff, and honestly, I couldn’t follow half the questions. My phone started buzzing around 7:30 in the evening and a chap with a nice tone said he was from my neighbourhood carrying out some kind of survey. He told me his name was Mohamed Ali, but I told him I wasn't interested and just ended the call!

Got a call from 02084334495 on 16/02/17, claimed to be ringing for Google. Asked me about what gadgets I own. I gave him the list but then told him I don’t have a computer or anything to access the internet with. He sounded very polite, but after that I just hung up.

I called them back to see who was behind the number. A voicemail explained they’re a marketing firm trying to get me to join a survey. I told them to join my blocked calls club instead!

Got a call from this number tonight claiming they were conducting a survey about the EU. When I asked why they were ringing me on a number that's unlisted, ex-directory, and registered with TAPS, I didn't even let the bloke answer. Just told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call straight away.

So today, I got a call that lasted about 18 minutes where they kept repeating the same questions about my internet and phone habits, just phrased differently each time. I was browsing online while this was happening but after a while, I got annoyed and decided to hang up.

Got a call from this number on the 23rd of Jan around 6pm, someone wanted to talk to my mum who’s in a nursing home. The person sounded foreign and claimed they were from the DWP. Last year I did have dealings with the DWP when my mum went into care, but I was just about to make tea so told them it wasn’t a good time and hung up. Later on, my daughter told me to check the number out and turns out it’s flagged as a nuisance caller.

Just received a text and a missed call from this number. They say they're fredpay.com and ask you to hand over your bank info to "safeguard" it all together. Sounds a bit suspect if you ask me.

Got a call from 02084334495 on the evening of January 24th, 2017, around 8.15pm. They said it was a survey for the Department of Work and Pensions. Bit suspicious, especially so late. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up.

Got a ring from a woman speaking with a British accent. She said the company’s name so quickly I had to ask her to say it again, but I still couldn’t catch it. Then she said she was conducting some market research. When I told her I don’t take part in surveys, she just hung up. She wasn’t impolite or anything, but honestly, I’d rather not get these kinds of calls on a Sunday morning.

Got a call on Saturday around 3:30 in the afternoon. The person said they were doing a survey about lifestyle stuff. They soon began asking about my money and belongings. I let the woman ramble on for a bit with polite but vague answers, but when she pushed for personal info, I told her I wasn’t sharing that. After ending the call, I rang 1471 to check the number and was met with an automated message saying the company is called TMS. Best to just hang up if they get in touch with you.

Some bloke phoning up sayin he was doin a survey about fake money. I just kept givin him daft answers so he had to say it over and over. They wasted ages with their daft questions and I gave them nonsense back. In the end, I told them I was messin about and hung up. Bet they’ll try callin again even though I’m on the no-call list.

Some bloke called me saying he was conducting a survey on counterfeit cash. I played along giving all the wrong answers, making him repeat stuff for about a quarter of an hour. They kept ringing asking daft questions and all they got were silly replies from me. In the end, I just told him I was messing about and ended the call. I’m sure they’ll be back, even though I’m on the no-call list.
