Got a call on my mobile last Tuesday, but my phone didn’t ring at all. The next day I noticed a missed call from this London number (+442089533695). I decided to check it out today on your site and found lots of people saying it’s a scam. Lucky I didn’t answer and blocked it straight away. Funny thing is, the same evening someone came to my shared flat claiming to be from Careline, but I didn’t let them in. Now I’m wondering if this visit is linked to that phone call? Im pretty sure this number belongs to Kantar. They do market research and have been hired by the UK Government to conduct surveys about various government departments. Not all their calls come out of the blue though. I got a letter a couple weeks before the call telling me about the survey and the option to say no. Yeah, it can be annoying getting a random call, but theres no harm meant like some other calls.

I've received numerous calls from this number, all featuring a recorded message regarding the Inland Revenue, threatening legal action if I failed to get back to them. I've grown weary of these incessant calls and certainly won't be returning the call.

Received a call on my mobile, but there was no one on the line when I picked up. After redialling the number, I was greeted by some automated voice claiming to be TMS, offering me another number to ring - 020 8433 4056 - to leave a message. They supposedly represent some survey company, but it all feels very suspicious and unsolicited. I believe they should face penalties for this nonsense and be made to cease operations!

I received a call this evening from this number, claiming to be conducting a survey regarding the EU. I was a bit taken aback, as my number is unlisted, ex-directory, and registered with TAPS. When I questioned the caller about how they obtained my details, I didn’t give him a chance to reply. I simply informed him that I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Received a call from this number on the 23rd of January around half past six in the evening. The caller was looking to chat with my mum, who resides in a care home. The individual, who didn’t seem to have English as their first language, claimed to be from the DWP. I had previously dealt with DWP last year when my mum transitioned into the home, and with dinner preparations underway, I informed them it wasn’t a good time and hung up. Later, prompted by my daughter, I decided to look into the number and discovered it’s flagged as a nuisance call.

Got a call on Saturday around 3:30 in the afternoon. The person said they were doing a survey about lifestyle stuff. They soon began asking about my money and belongings. I let the woman ramble on for a bit with polite but vague answers, but when she pushed for personal info, I told her I wasn’t sharing that. After ending the call, I rang 1471 to check the number and was met with an automated message saying the company is called TMS. Best to just hang up if they get in touch with you.

I received a phone call from someone insisting they were conducting a survey regarding counterfeit currency. I decided to have a bit of fun and kept the bloke on the line for a whopping 15 minutes, furnishing him with all sorts of incorrect responses so he had to keep asking his questions again. They were so ridiculous that I couldn’t help but respond with equally ridiculous answers! Eventually, I let him in on the joke and ended the call myself. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ring me back, despite being registered with the telephone preference service. Typical, isn’t it?
