Got a call asking for "the man of the household," and when I asked who it was, they said TNS doing a survey and that they wanted to speak to the man of the house. I've received two calls from this number just this week. They claimed to be conducting a significant survey. I ended the conversation and decided to block them.

It drives me mad getting these calls, so now I just don't answer. I'm disabled so it's really stressful trying to catch the phone in time, but they're always gone by the time I get there. Is this sort of thing even allowed? Feels like harassment to me.

For the past week, this number has been ringing our private landline without fail, day after day. Each time we let it go to voicemail, they don’t bother leaving a message. It’s becoming quite the irritation, so I’ve decided to block the number entirely.

Most times, when the phone picks up, it just records silence without any actual message being left.

this number keeps ringing me like on sat 14/3 at 11.36am and again on tues 27/3 at 8.45pm. now i just ignore any call and wait for 1471 to check if it’s someone i need to deal with! such a pain, paying for phone lines and not daring to pick up calls from our own phones. what a joke of a government that still hasn’t fixed this problem!

If you send an email to Eric Salama, be aware that he may swiftly resort to contacting the authorities if you press him. It's worth noting that he tends to remove your number from their directory rather quickly. Alternatively, when they ring you, simply mention that you're getting in touch with Eric Salama, and it might just make them think twice.

Got a call from John James at TNS, he said he's doing some research for local govt or sumthing. Asked how many over 16s live here and wanted a chat - said it was something to do with random sampling or whatever, and tried to speak to my partner. Couldn't do it then. Bit weird tho, the convo ended but he didn’t just hang up right away, which felt a bit off.

this number calls almost every day at all sorts of times and the caller ID usually just says “incoming call” i once answered and the line just cut off straight away. now if i dont know the number i just ignore it and let them bother someone else. there needs to be a way to block these annoying calls, especially as they can be really scary or unsettling for older folks who rely on the phone to stay connected with loved ones. the phone companies should offer a way to block nuisance calls without us having to buy extra call blocking tools.

I've been receiving calls time and again from the number 0208 433 4479. It's as if they can't take a hint, as they persist with their relentless ringing. They've even bothered me as early as half seven in the morning and as late as ten in the evening! Honestly, you'd think they'd find something better to do with their time. I've made it clear that I’m not interested in their survey, but they just won’t let it go.
