I got caught up in that scam too, when I tried to get my £325 refunded they said I had to pay £25 for cancelling. I told them I’d reported it to Action Fraud and they started getting really rude. They’re absolute rubbish, hope they don’t keep getting away with it, such horrible, nasty folks.

Just got off the phone with some bloke called Brad from this outfit. He mentioned that someone would drop by later with papers as proof or something this arvo. Sounds like a load of nonsense to me, but I definitely haven't handed over any cash beforehand. They wanted me to buy some voucher if I wanted a loan within 15 minutes, but I told them no way. He didn't argue, maybe he's already nicked enough today. These lot really get on my nerves.

Honestly, I wouldn’t touch any of those with a bargepole! Best to just avoid them altogether.

Hello, I recently had a chat with someone from this number, and it turns out they’re associated with a loans firm.

Got a call from someone claiming to be police, saying they were looking into a scam I was supposedly involved in. Then they asked me to send money through MoneyGram! Sounded really dodgy to me.

My sister got contacted by this firm when she was short on cash. They first asked her for a £52 3V voucher, then demanded £82, followed by £123.50, and eventually four payments of £153.50 each. Altogether, she ended up handing over £871.50 because they kept insisting she needed to pay more to “unlock” a code from the British Banking Association. We checked with the association ourselves and they said they had no connection to this company and suspected it was a scam. Since they’d got hold of her card details for supposedly transferring the loan money into her account, they’ve tried to withdraw money from her bank since then. The police and fraud squad have been informed now.

My mate’s brother ended up handing over £1860 for what was meant to be a £7000 loan. They kept pushing him to send more cash, claiming the money would show up in his bank soon. The cops have now got wind and are dealing with it.

They charged me £145 and then wanted another £105 to sort out some supposed loan. When I asked for my money back, they said I had to cough up an extra £35 as a 'refund cancellation fee'. After giving them that money, I couldn’t afford my rent and ended up without a home. Honestly, AVOID these people at all costs. They won’t hear a word you say, constantly nag you, and won’t go away until they’ve squeezed every penny out of you.

First, they wanted me to pay 100 quid, then suddenly they were after a loan, but after that, I never heard a thing.

They claimed to be approved by the UK government, but I called them out as a total scam. Ha!

My fiancé ended up getting caught out and lost £250, only just realising it was a scam. They keep ringing back wanting more cash, but I’m polite and didn’t give them the time of day on the phone.

I was told to purchase a voucher, and not long after making the transaction, they requested a PIN code. It all seems quite dodgy, if you ask me. Definitely not worth trusting!

This number contacted me offering a loan that was supposedly guaranteed if I made a cash deposit to the account details they gave me. After I sent the money, they never delivered what they promised. I’m convinced they’re running a scam, tricking folks with fake offers. I really want this looked into and my money returned. Can anyone assist? Thanks a lot. I’m Khalid, you can reach me on 07970147147.

I checked a few other sites and noticed this one has McAfee and Verisign logos, but does that mean they created those pages themselves? Seems a bit odd to me.

Got an annoyed call from some dodgy loan place. Proper scam, stay clear!

Don’t fall for it - they ask for payment upfront but you’ll never actually get the loan. Real lenders don’t require money before giving you a loan. It’s awful how some people take advantage of those who really need help. Total scam.

Spent £240 and still no loan showing up in my bank, this lot’s a total scam, bloody rubbish company!

I got a call from this number after I put in an application for a loan. They told me I needed to buy a £50 paysafe card from a shop as a deposit because my credit score was apparently too bad. They promised that the cash would be in my account within 20 hours after paying. Well, it’s been two days now and still no sign of the money. When I tried calling them back, they just wouldn’t answer at all.

This number just rang me up telling me I'd been approved for a loan, and all I had to do was buy a voucher from a local shop. I told the guy, who sounded possibly Eastern European, that I couldn’t get to any shops. After that, he gave me some bank info and asked me to transfer £60 into a Barclays account belonging to someone called Djalma Fernandes, including personal bank details? Doesn’t sound like any loan service I’ve ever heard of. Now the phone keeps buzzing with calls from this number but I’m ignoring them. What should I do with the bank details they gave me?

I’m pretty sure this is one of those dodgy loan firms. I actually sent them some money hoping to get my loan sorted, but now I'm not really sure if they’re legit or just a scam. Don’t know what my next step should be if it turns out to be a con.
