Received a couple of calls today from a chap named "Mark." On the first occasion, he claimed to be representing British Gas, and then on the second call, he switched gears and said he was from Smartest Energy. He stated that they were reaching out to all of their customers due to the rising fuel prices, and apparently, all existing contracts are now deemed void, with new ones needing to be reworked. I can only imagine he’s keen to "assist" me and would recommend someone who could supposedly offer me a sweet deal elsewhere. 😂 Naturally, the conversation didn’t really go anywhere after that. 😭 I've forwarded his number to both companies, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a dodgy number that leads to nothing.
