The voice on the phone was really hard to make out, with loads of noise going on behind her. I caught her mentioning something about a solicitors office, but I wasn’t having any of it. I just said “No thanks, goodbye” and hung up straight away. They’re such a nuisance! I don’t even have a car or drive, so what on earth was the point of that call?

Right after I put my car up on Gumtree, kind of like someone else mentioned here, I got a call from this guy who spoke really broken English. He started asking if my car had been in an accident, which it absolutely hadn't. I just ended the call straight away.

I put up a few cars on Gumtree and pretty quick, like less than 10 minutes, I get a call from someone with an East Asian accent. Since I'm from that background too, I just switched to our language and gave them a bit of backchat. Honestly, the people running that place are proper dodgy.

Got a call from someone trying to scam me about a car crash. I told them I’d actually been in another crash just today. They kept going on about a car accident and I just replied, "Well, that’s no surprise, I freaked out!"

Watch out for these lot, they called me up and made threats against me and my family. They even mentioned my address, and the bloke gave me his own and dared me to come round and sort it out face to face. The whole call left me feeling really shaken and worried. Now I’m honestly scared that he might turn up at my place since my family’s there. I'm gonna report the whole thing to the cops.

I had this number blocked, then out of nowhere they buzzed me from another one only seconds later, so I blocked that too. But guess what? They didn’t stop and tried calling me again from yet a different number. Honestly, who does that? Proper joke!

They rang me up claiming I was involved in an accident with some woman, which I definitely wasn't, and said they'd hand me £4000. They've been stressing me out big time.

Got a call today from someone claiming to be from my solicitors' injury team, saying they wanted to follow up on a claim I supposedly made. I told him I haven't signed up with any solicitors yet, but he insisted he could arrange new ones for me to sign with. When I asked for the name of his firm, he just hung up. What really freaked me out was that he already had all my personal info.

This morning my wife got a call from this number, saying they were handling her car accident claim. It really upset her with how pushy they were. Then, to make matters worse, they phoned again later in the evening. I picked up this time and the person said my wife had called them earlier and they were just getting back to her. I called him out on the blatant fibs and told him it looked like a scam. Although, I did manage to get their address, which I saw mentioned in another comment here.

I had a similar call, some Asian person who said his name was Jaimie, wanted to chat about a car accident claim. Didn’t quite hear the solicitors name he mentioned.
I just ended up shouting that it was nonsense and told him to piss off and never call again.
Then I dialled 1477 to log it as a nuisance call.

Received a call from this number, claiming there's some outstanding payment related to a car accident. However, when I tried to return the call, it just rang out without an answer. Quite suspicious, really!

I got a call from someone saying there was a car crash involving me from like two years back, which was really odd. They had my actual name and address right, so it was scary if I had been in an accident not long ago. Turns out, it’s a complete scam. The bloke said his name was Daniel Decluse, working for Claims on Line at 171 Garratt Lane, SW18 4DP. That address’s real enough, but it’s just a tiny eatery, nothing to do with insurance or anything.

On the 7th of August, someone said they were from a legal company and wanted to ask about a car crash. They provided this number and gave a dodgy London address, but couldn’t even say which area it was in! Total nuisance, definitely some sort of scam.

Got a call today from a guy who sounded Asian, saying something about a car crash. I've never been in one! He wanted me to ring back and have a chat with a lawyer named Sophie Margaret or something. No chance I'm calling them!
