02079476602 has been ringin me at 6.54 in the morning and again at 10.40 at night. Ive had 26 calls from them altogether and I havent picked up once, plus no messages left at all. These nonstop rings are just crazy annoying.

Its a total SCAM from 01274 905838, they use some automated system that scammers love. Then cause the line got bad, they switched to 020 7947 6000 - if u google that number, "Royal Courts of Justice" comes up, which is obviously to trick people. The bloke told me his name was Kevin Williams, gave some beige number 98560IR and case numbers 802241761 and 248/1965. He even knew my home address and threatened me with arrest for supposedly owing tax, getting all shouty. I rang HMRC straight away to check my tax records - all was fine. I’ve marked the number as a scam, so watch out!

Today, I got calls from a couple of numbers I didn’t recognise (0207 131 4488 & 0207 947 6257). I missed the first call entirely and ended up cutting off the second one because I was busy with work. The second call did leave a voicemail, and I caught bits of an automated female voice saying something like, "if you wish to avoid legal proceedings, press 1." It felt like a classic scam to me. I attempted to return the call to the first number, but it got forwarded so I decided to end the call. I’ve now blocked both of these numbers. Just a reminder - never share any personal information with these scammers!

Got a call from this number today around 1pm here in Durham. The person on the other end was claiming I was about to be arrested for tax dodging. Obviously, they got the wrong bloke. This number left me another threatening voicemail, so I’ve just blocked it now and reported the incident as an HMRC phishing attempt. Didn’t get round to it sooner but glad it’s done.
