I received a call from this number claiming I'd won a spot in a lottery syndicate. The woman I was on the phone with became quite irate when I expressed reluctance to share my banking details. I couldn’t help but question her annoyance, especially as it was supposed to be a joyous event, considering I had supposedly won a shot at some substantial cash. She launched into a rapid-fire list of reasons why I should hand over my financial information-barely stopping for a breath. At that point, I decided to end the call, especially after highlighting her unfounded anger, which struck me as rather dodgy.

I received a call from this number claiming I’d won a contest I’d entered. The chap on the line asked for my bank details, which I stupidly provided. He then mentioned I was automatically signed up for some lottery subscription, but I wasn’t having any of it. I insisted on withdrawing all my information since he hadn’t mentioned anything about subscriptions in the beginning. He insisted I should give it a whirl, assuring me I had a month to back out. I was so exasperated that I just hung up. Now, I suppose I must sit tight and see if they've nicked any money from my account.
