It’s good that phones now require unfamiliar callers to say who they are so it only notes down the number. These scammers are really dangerous, using fake numbers that look like the real thing to run all sorts of scams. Impersonating the NHS is a really bad crime. The police should catch these lot quickly.

Got a call from someone asking for my medical info, but just a heads up - this definitely isn’t an NHS line. Be careful!

Got a call around 4.40pm on 25th Jan 2022 from someone claiming I qualified for a ‘medical alert card’. They stuck to some rehearsed spiel and wouldn’t explain where they’d got my details from. Tried to get me to answer health questions but I didn’t want to share anything. Eventually found out they weren’t with the NHS but a private outfit somewhere in Dorset. The whole thing felt pushy and a bit cheeky, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from 02045162733 today, they were asking loads of medical stuff but said they weren’t from the NHS or anything like that. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
