I've been getting random calls from this number, even though I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service. It's rather frustrating!

A chap informed me that the insurance policy for my windows and doors was no longer valid, but the truth is, I’ve never had any insurance on those at all!

Got a call out of the blue from some telemarketers trying to sell "free medical pendants" aimed at people over 50. Didn’t ask for it, obviously. I’ve reported the whole thing to the ICO.

Got a call asking if I’m above 50 so they can tell me about a free medical alert pendant or something. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from 02045162723 claiming to be Alex from medical alert, saying I might qualify for a medical token. He asked if I was over 50, which I said yes to. Then he wanted to know if I used a walking stick or any mobility aid. At that point, I noticed he never asked to speak to anyone specifically, like my doctor or the NHS asking for Mrs Smith or something similar. I decided to ask where he got my number from, and he just said, “Thanks, understood, goodbye,” and immediately hung up. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

Totally a scam. This bloke says he's an energy advisor for my postcode and even acted like he knew I owned the house. But when I asked him to prove who he was and tell me my postcode, he just cut me off mid-call. Suspicious as hell.

Last week I told them to take me off their list, but guess what? They’re still calling. Definitely feels like an energy firm scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying he was Alex and that he was calling from Dorset. He asked if I was over 50 and told me I was on some sort of list - when I pressed him on what list, he just said it was something his boss sends out daily. He was trying to sell me a medical alert token, claiming it was free at first, then suddenly said there’d be a monthly charge. Proper annoying and feels like a total scam to me.

Got a second ring from this number asking about government loft insulation schemes. They offered to do a loft survey, supposedly for mould. When I asked how they got my number, they said it was from some renewable energy list. I told them I’m not even on any register and they just hung up. Honestly, don’t bother with these lot, it’s just a waste of time.

I got a call from a bloke who sounded proper knowledgeable about loft insulation. He kept going on about how my current insulation could lead to mould and damage the roof. Once I mentioned the building regulations to show I knew my stuff, he just ended the call. Definitely seemed like a dodgy scam to me.
