A bloke called saying he was Alex from something called the Medical Alert place. After that, the line went strange - I could hear him alright but he didn’t seem to get a word from me. Not sure what he was after, but judging by all the dodgy calls from this number, I’m guessing it’s just another scam.

A bloke rang me claiming he was from Medical Alert, saying I might qualify for one of those alert pendants. He wanted to know if I was older than 50 and if I used a cane or walking stick, both of which I said no to. I got a bit wary and when I asked where he got my details from, he just hung up. Not sure what scam they're running but it seems aimed at older folks.
