Got a call this afternoon from someone claiming “it shows” we qualify for a medical alert device. Honestly, my husband does have a disability so it might be true. I asked the caller where they had got their info, and he said his manager sends him a list of numbers to ring daily! When I tried to find out where the manager got the details, the bloke just hung up. It’s quite concerning, especially since folks like my husband, who attends loads of medical appointments, might easily believe it’s legit.

I got a call from 020 4516 2736 at around 2:46 pm on 25/01/2022. The person said he was Alex from some Medical Alert Centre and mentioned I might qualify for a medical alert device. He asked if I was over 50. When I questioned where he got my number from and what exactly he wanted, he just ended the call. Seems like a scam aimed at older folks. Definitely marked it as suspicious. Bit worrying, to be honest.

He asked if I was over fifty and said I could be eligible for a medical alert device. When I questioned where he got my number from and why he was ringing me, he just ended the call.
