Someone rang me pretending to be an energy advisor from around here, but I’m pretty sure that’s not even a real job. It felt dodgy, especially since I was expecting a call about my Energy Performance Certificate for selling my house. At first I thought that’s what it was, but then I twigged it was a con and ended the call quick. They tried ringing back the day after, but from a different number.

Got a call from a bloke saying he was "your local energy advisor." I’m an electrical engineer with loads of experience in energy recovery, so I fancy I could've held my own with him. However, I was in a rush and didn’t bother getting into it, just hung up. Since I’m with BT, I then rang 1572, picked option 1, which sends calls straight to the junk mailbox. Pretty sure it was some dodgy insulation scam.
