Phone number ☎️ 02038969745 👆 is reported as an aggressive, well-organised HMRC impersonation scam originating mainly from India, using threatening automated calls and voicemails. Callers claim unpaid taxes with inflated amounts and threaten arrest, freezing of bank accounts and benefits, urging victims to call back or face legal action, often requesting solicitor involvement. The scam employs robotic voices with American accents and fake officer names, resorting to insults and intimidation when challenged. Genuine HMRC does not operate in this manner or use automated threats, nor request payment or immediate callbacks via such calls. Recipients are advised to ignore, block the numbers, never disclose personal information, and report the calls to authorities. Vulnerable individuals should be particularly cautious to avoid falling victim to this financial fraud.

Got a voicemail from 02038795411, sounded like some robotic American lady called Lauren Hawkins from the Inland Revenue. She was threatening legal action if I didn’t get back to her or my lawyer. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

I received a rather alarming message stating that I was at risk of facing legal repercussions unless I returned their call. The caller claimed to be Laura Hawkins from HM Revenue and Customs, but the voice was so mechanical and lifeless, it resembled something straight out of a shoddy B-movie from the 1980s! What a bizarre experience!

I called the number back and some bloke said he was from HMRC. Not trying to be funny or anything, but the man had an English name yet spoke with an Indian accent. When I asked for proof, he just swore and cut me off! Honestly, some folks really should find a decent job instead of messing about like that!

I received an unsettling phone call from 02038969745, with someone purporting to be from HMRC's litigation department, insisting that I owe them money. He identified himself as Officer Stephen Martin and even provided another number, 02038969960, as a way to contact him. This morning alone, he attempted to reach me eight times, pressuring me to funnel funds to a bank account he said he'd disclose once I arrived at the bank. That’s when my alarm bells started ringing. To top it off, he called me subsequently from yet another number, 03453003943. Naturally, I decided to give HMRC a ring myself, and they confirmed it was indeed a scam. Do take care, folks!

Had a rather alarming encounter with an individual masquerading as an HMRC officer-an Asian chap, no less-who was making ominous claims about unpaid taxes. It seemed like a meticulously orchestrated ring of fraudsters, likely operating out of India, targeting unsuspecting victims worldwide and raking in potentially millions with such unscrupulous methods. Quite worrying, to be honest!

If you return their call, brace yourself for their attempts to intimidate you with threats of legal proceedings and demands to speak to your lawyer, despite having no valid reason to do so. They're definitely not affiliated with HMRC, and should you turn the tables and inquire about their claims, they falter and can’t provide any proof. Their demeanour shifts rapidly, becoming quite brusque and confrontational. It’s wise to report every single call from these individuals without fail.
