Got a call from this number around 5 PM today but didn't pick up since I didn't recognise it. After checking out what people have said here, I’m pretty relieved I chose not to answer. I’ve gone ahead and blocked them now. Honestly, the government really needs to do something to shut down these R --- Sole businesses for good.

I've just received a phone call from this particular number. I've made it my mission to combat all those pesky telemarketers, and this one keeps popping up as a dodgy contact. Normally, I don’t pick up unknown calls; instead, I use 1471 to find out who’s been trying to reach me. The caller ID indicates it’s from an 0203 area code, which is central London, yet the 751 sub-code raises a red flag as it's not tied to any specific location. Consequently, I won’t be returning the call. Frankly, I believe that every time a call comes through, they ought to include the caller’s ID alongside the number. We’re living in the 21st century, for goodness’ sake-it's hardly rocket science to provide that sort of information.

I just received a call from this number. I've already waged a campaign against all those pesky telemarketers, and this one seems to pop up a lot as a dubious caller. Instead of answering, I always use 1471 to find out who has been trying to reach me. The Caller ID showed an area code of 0203 (which is indeed central London), but the 751 part doesn't match any local codes, which piques my suspicion. Therefore, I won’t be returning the call. Honestly, I think it’s about time they included the caller’s identity alongside the number shown-it's the 21st century after all! It's not exactly rocket science to implement this feature. - Caller: no idea, couldn’t care less.

Got a call from some energy company, a woman called Sharon with a strong accent that wasnt English. She kept asking me where I get my energy from and stuff. I told her to ask the landlord and then she just hung up on me.

Got a call from a guy with an accent from that part of the world - claimed he was from SWITCHEDIT and said he was ringing from Coventry. But the number showed a London dialling code, so I knew something was off. When I asked for his postcode, he said he couldn’t share that info, which made me hang up straight away. Definitely smells like a SCAM to me. My tip: never give out your name or confirm any details, just keep asking questions!

I hung around until the caller gave up, then dialled 1471 to get the number. I’m currently fielding between ten and fifteen calls daily. Occasionally, they just go quiet the moment I pick up, while others are keen to push some so-called 'lifestyle survey' on me. It’s utterly tiresome. At one point, I even wondered if someone was trying to determine when it was safe to break into my home. I reached out to the authorities to see if they were aware of any dubious activity, but they didn’t seem clued in about it. If I were an elderly lady living alone, I imagine it would be quite daunting. More often than not, 1471 reveals that the number is withheld. Honestly, I believe that practice ought to be outlawed. I’d be keen to hear if anyone else feels the same way. If a random con artist can have access to my number, surely I should be entitled to theirs as well.

So annoying! I picked up once and there was just silence. After that, I kept getting calls from other companies. Previously, I'd already taken a survey with this firm because they wouldn't stop bothering me. Then the same nonsense began all over again - stuff about health plans, PPI claims and all that. Really wish there was a way to put an end to this mess.

Somebody rang my mobile but I just let it ring as I didn’t know the number. Honestly, cold calls should be banned altogether and the phone providers should be slapped with big fines every time they hand out a number to a telemarketer.

They ring every day, at all times, asking for Mrs Tingley. Sometimes it's dead quiet on the other end. I've told them loads of times there’s no one here by that name and to quit calling, but they just carry on. This has been happening for almost a year now.

What really baffles me is that I’m signed up with TPS, yet these calls still come through. Honestly, I reckon the phone companies providing these lines should be accountable since they're fully aware of how these numbers are being misused and who actually owns them.
