Been getting loads of calls from this number, had to block it eventually. This time a woman said I’d been in an accident, but before that she claimed it was my sister who’d crashed and was in hospital. Totally dodgy, just a scam for sure.

Yesterday I noticed a missed call from this number, so I decided to ring back today. The person on the line said they were from Injury Claim Law and claimed they got my details from RTA, which they insisted was government controlled (seemed a bit dodgy to me!). Since I'm signed up with TPS for both my mobile and landline, I told them they had no right to call me and that I’d be reporting them - which I’ve just done via the ICO site. The guy insisted it must’ve been a mistake by a colleague, but I wasn’t convinced. When I asked to speak to a manager, they said no one was available and then just cut me off. If loads of people flag these calls, maybe something will finally be done about these annoying and misleading calls!

When I asked who they were, they just said I needed to verify details about the accident. It all sounded quite serious and official, made me a bit nervous. I told them to delete any details they had about my number from their records, but still, the whole thing felt a bit intimidating.

It's just a robot voice named Hannah, no actual person answering. It keeps going until you say the "right" thing, so don't count on speaking to anyone real. Best to just hang up and block the number.

Got a call this morning from someone saying, "We've been told you were involved in a car accident that wasn’t your fault, is that right?" Total scam, so I just ended the call straight away. I've had calls like this from dodgy companies before, always with that same accident story. Thing is, I don’t even drive, so it’s obviously a fake call. I guess I’m not the nicest person. Got a call from this number earlier. A woman said, "Hello, this is Hannah from Injury Lawyers Doodah. We’ve been informed about your recent car crash." I panicked and replied, "How did you even get that info? It was awful, there was blood everywhere. I didn’t mean for it to happen. Please, you gotta help me, I keep hearing their voices." On the evening of 22 May 2015, I received a call from this number around 7:20pm. It took a while for the woman, who said her name was Hannah, to actually say anything. When she finally started talking, I cut her off and asked what accident she was on about. She just repeated her whole pitch again, so I straight up asked where on earth she had got my number from. About ten minutes later, my daughter got a call from the same number. We’re both on O2 contracts, so it makes me wonder if someone’s been selling our details. Had to block them, quick! When I asked who gave it to her, she said it was the Road Traffic Accident Department or something like that. So I asked her what my name was, thinking if she really had my details she’d know. She just asked again if I’d been in an accident. I told her no and repeated my question about my name. Then she just ended the call. I tried ringing back and got put through to an automated system with her exact voice! When has an automated line ever sounded the same as the person who called you? I reckon the whole thing was a scam to get my 16 digit credit card number in a quick chat. Watch out for this one!
