Got a call from a young sounding woman, probably called Hannah, maybe 20-25 years old? She just started with "how are you?" acting like she knew me. When I asked who she was, she said "Hannah" and then claimed I’d been in a car crash. I tried to tell her I don’t do sales or cold calls and asked her to remove my number, but she just cut me off. I looked up this number coz I wanted to know who was ringing me, and it turned out to be some girl called "Hannah"? When I picked up she just said "Hi how are you?" and I just put the phone down straight away. None of me mates would call like that! If you happen to get a call from this number, I'd say be cautious. It doesn't seem too risky but definitely don't share any private details. Best bet is to report it and block the number.

Got a ring from someone called Hanna asking if I’d been in a car smash. I told her I hadn’t had any accident at all. She said her files show my car was involved in a crash not long ago. This woman phoned me saying it was about an accident I'd supposedly been involved in. It’s sad to think about the people who actually do fall for this nonsense! They’re clearly just hitting up random numbers, with zero real info about you. I’m also registered with the TPS, so they shouldn’t have called me at all - this company is clearly ignoring the rules on purpose! Definitely flagged as dangerous because of their lies and scams.

I got a call from someone claiming there'd been an accident and that it involved me. Around 1:30 pm today I got a call on my mobile from a young woman with a foreign accent claiming to work for an accident claims firm. She asked if I'd been involved in any accident recently. When I asked where she had my details, she said something about the RTA department and insisted I’d had an accident in the last two years. I switched to a firm, no-nonsense tone and demanded her name, number and where exactly she was calling from. She just hung up on me. I reckon the call came from a landline though. I sent her a text back calling her out as a scammer and warned I know where they are and that I’ll be reporting them for lying. The number was 02036349836.

What a total scam! Got an automated call claiming the RTA told them I'd been in an accident. Sounds like they use a robot dialler or something. If you accidentally say "yes," they probably put your number on some list and flog it to insurance firms. You can't ring them back or sort it out either.
