If I get a call from a number I don't know, I just stay quiet and let them talk first. Some calls hang up pretty quickly, making me think it's one of those boiler-room scams. Today’s call was strange - they just put the phone down like it was a normal landline, no word said. Chances are it’s some dodgy scam, like the one noted back on 5th July 2021, so I’d say it’s definitely something to watch out for.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be a BT Openreach tech, saying there was an issue with other IPs using my internet. He wanted me to log into my computer and all that, but I wasn’t having any of it. Told him I didn’t trust it and hung up straight away. Definitely a scam.
