Watch out, this number is linked to some dodgy investment frauds!

Just wanted to thank the really posh sounding guy who called me around 4:50pm and gave me the bank details. I’m planning to report it straight to action fraud and the ICO. Feels a lot like one of those dodgy outfits, maybe something like Premier Protect?

I got a call today from someone claiming to be from the company that supposedly covers my kitchen appliances under warranty. Thing is, I’ve never signed up for any kind of extended warranty, so it was pretty obvious it was a scam. Sounds like a total fraudster trying to trick people.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the warranty company for my kitchen stuff. I’ve never even signed up for any extended warranty, so it was pretty obvious it was a dodgy scam trying to rip me off. Definitely some sort of fraud going on there.

Number didn’t show up on BT Call Guardian, so I’m guessing it was probably a scam or some call centre. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

Got a call from 02033322938 at 09:40 this morning, but when I answered, there was nothing but silence. Pretty sure it's one of those annoying scam calls. So frustrating!

They've rung me up a couple of times now, calling me by name and claiming the warranty on my Hotpoint fridge, oven, and washing machine is nearly up, pushing me to renew it. Problem is, I don't have any Hotpoint appliances at all, never have had. Plus, I’ve never taken out any kind of warranty on my machines. Still, these people are really stubborn, acting like they know my home and my stuff better than I do.

They called saying it was about renewing my appliance insurance, but when I asked for more info they didn’t really have any answers. Felt pretty dodgy to me!

Had a woman call me trying to sell a warranty renewal for kitchen appliances supposedly belonging to the previous owner from like 25 years back. She couldn’t even name what appliances I actually have or when the warranty would’ve started or ended. I’ve never bothered with those warranty things anyway. She also had the wrong postcode for my area. Not the slickest scam I’ve seen. I ended up keeping her on the line for about 20 minutes just wasting her time while she tried to push the warranty on me.

Got a call again about some sort of appliances cover, same nonsense as last week. Total scam, very annoying.

I wouldn’t call it dangerous, just more like annoying because a man with a really thick Indian accent kept asking for me by name. When I asked who was calling, he muttered something about a washing machine, but honestly his English was so bad I couldn’t quite catch it. I asked him to repeat himself, saying “what about the washing machine?” and he just rambled on in this confusing gibberish. I told him I couldn’t understand, and instead of clarifying, he immediately hung up. He probably figured I was too tricky to mess with. I’ve added the number to my blocked list now.

Got a call from a woman trying to get me to renew a warranty on kitchen appliances from someone who apparently lived here over two decades ago. She couldn’t say what appliances I supposedly had or when the cover was meant to start or end. I’ve never signed up for any appliance warranty at all. She didn’t even know the right postcode for my address. Honestly, a pretty weak attempt at a scam. I just humoured her and let her ramble on about her warranty offer for a good 20 minutes.

This number has rung me twice now, and both times I ended up here through this site. I told the person on the line to show this to their boss and maybe consider finding a different job. Sounds like a classic home appliance scam to me.

I got a call from 02033 322938 saying my kitchen stuff insurance was too high and I should go with them. Bit weird as I don’t even have any of my appliances insured. They usually keep going fine for ages, plus if they break, I’d rather buy new ones than bother with insurance.

Picked up the phone but no one said a word - maybe just another annoying call?

Answered the call and shared my number. There was an awkward pause that seemed to stretch on for ages. After a few seconds of silence, I chimed in with a 'hello'. Suddenly, the line went dead, and the caller hung up. Could this have been the beginning of some sales spiel or maybe even a scam targeting vulnerable individuals, like elderly folks? Clearly, my voice, being distinctly male, didn’t fit the profile they were after!

I received a phone call that had the distinct feel of an Indian call centre, and it screamed scam right from the outset. A lady on the line claimed to be representing something called 'Service Home Plan' and mentioned that our washing machine and fridge-freezer had just slipped out of warranty. The amusing part? Our ancient American fridge-freezer hasn't had a warranty for the past two decades! Likewise, our Miele washing machine, which is just as old, is still holding up and definitely not covered anymore. It's clear that this so-called company is a fabrication, merely out to swindle unsuspecting folks. Complete and utter fraud!

I picked up the phone, thinking it was my doctor calling, but just as I did, the line went silent. I tried to ring them back, but it was constantly engaged. A minute later, I called again, and it rang for a tick before cutting off to that same annoying engaged tone. I'd wager it's likely some call centre that's behind the confusion.

Received a call regarding a lapsed warranty on one of my appliances. The caller mentioned the manufacturers had got in touch, but couldn’t for the life of her recall their names. I decided to play along and said I was puzzled since I own so many gadgets, it was hard to know which one she meant. It seemed to flummox her a bit, and after a moment of awkward silence, she ended the call. I promptly blocked the number, just to be safe.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Services Homeplan, stating that my policy had lapsed. The thing is, I’ve never even had a policy with them! It’s clearly a scam, so I’d strongly recommend that everyone consider blocking this number.
