Got a call saying my insurance for the fridge/freezer, cooker and washing machine had expired, they said it was from Hotpoint and that the appliances were over seven years old. Pretty clear it was a scam coz I don’t even own those things, and the ones I do have are nowhere near that old. Definitely a phishing attempt.

Got a call from this number but couldn’t answer, so I rang back using a different phone. Straight away, I got a message saying the number isn’t active anymore. It also mentioned if I wanted to use the number, to reach out at www.telco-number.net. After that, I didn’t bother with it.
