Got a call from this bloke today, ended up playing a bit of a time-wasting game. Same old rubbish like others have mentioned, but we told him there was a fault with our phone line. He was super persistent, even after we left him chatting to himself for a good few minutes before hanging up. He called back at least ten times! Eventually, he claimed our PC was involved in some dodgy activity and tried hard to convince us to let him remote into our computer. When we called him out as a scammer, he started cussing and then just hung up.

Today I got a call from this very same number, using the same story and threats that other folks here have mentioned. I told the woman that to me, it sounded like she might actually be the scammer, then I just ended the call.

I've experienced two rather troubling phone calls lately. During the first, a woman rang me, insisting that my computer was transmitting errors to Microsoft and urged me to log into a site using the information she provided. I was quite perplexed and asked which computer she meant. When she replied, “Your Windows,” I had to clarify that I don’t actually own a computer. At that point, she abruptly hung up. The second call was from a gentleman who had an Asian accent. As soon as I recognised their spiel, I cut him off and demanded that they remove my details from their system. He responded with a shocking torrent of abuse, hurling racial slurs and foul language at me. This sort of behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, and something truly needs to be done to stop these calls. Is there anyone out there with suggestions on how we can put a stop to this nonsense?

I received a rather dodgy call earlier from someone who identified himself as an Asian bloke from Microsoft. He was babbling on about receiving error alerts from my computer. Naturally, I was a bit sceptical, so I probed for more details. Strangely enough, the moment I pressed him for clarification, he abruptly cut the line. Quite the shifty character, if you ask me!

Today, 04/08/2017, I got a call from this number (02031988108). A guy with an Asian accent said his name was Kevin. He claimed my computer was hacked and wanted me to log in, which I refused to do. When I asked what the issue was, he started shouting abuse at me. Not gonna lie, I gave it right back to him! We went back and forth like that for about 5 minutes before he got annoyed and ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke called "Kevin" at 8:45 in the morning. I had a hunch it was a scam, but figured I’d mess about with him a bit. He claimed he could sort out my computer. I told him it didn’t need any fixing. Then he called me a fibber and questioned why I’d apparently sent emails and was now being dishonest. I just told him to jog on and hung up. I’m 70 years old, but thankfully I’m wise to these rude muppets!!

Just got a call from this number earlier. The bloke with an Asian accent said he was from 'Microsoft Corporation' and started talking about some problem with my computer. I told him I don’t have a 'Microsoft' device and ended the call straight away.

Got a call on 28.07.17 from an Asian man claiming to be from Microsoft. I asked him for more info so I could report him to the fraud team (been tricked before by a scammer pretending to be BT last year, so was being cautious). He kept saying it wasn’t a con and kept asking about my computer. I just ended the call.

Got a call from some random bloke claiming he was from Microsoft, asking to get into my computer. Immediate red flags! I reckon the firm running this scam should be outed properly. Makes you wonder how many folks have fallen for it and handed over their access. Proper worrying stuff.

Just got a call with nobody on the other end, and now this message pops up saying my login’s been suspended. It’s asking me to ring 02038836890 and have my account info ready. Honestly, I hope they’re not talking about my YouPorn account! Haha. Fingers crossed it’s just a mix-up!

A chap with an Indian accent called me up, claiming that hackers were utilising my Microsoft computer for shady activities. He insisted I switch it on so he could guide me through resolving the issues. Curiously, I probed him about how he came by my number, and he replied, “Madam, it’s recorded on some database.” The thing is, none of it is in my name! That’s when I decided to hang up.

Got a call today at 8:02am. I asked if she knew what time it was and she said yes. Told her it was quite early! The usual nonsense about my computer sending error messages and they want to fix it for me. Asked if my computer was on, I said no, we’ve got an early appointment to get to. She said Christine Dawson will call me back at 2pm. Might have a bit of fun with her if I’m not too busy!

Ah, yet another typical Microsoft con, isn't it? I'm in the habit of stringing them along for a bit before letting out a shrill whistle over the receiver, hoping to give them a proper fright! Curiously enough, it’s always the same lady who calls. Just a word of caution - steer clear and NEVER divulge any personal info to them!

I received a rather unsettling phone call from this number recently. A chap on the other end claimed to be from Windows, informing me that there was an issue with my computer. I mentioned that my son handles any tech troubles I might encounter and that I wouldn’t need his assistance. At that point, he became quite aggressive, insisting that I log onto my computer immediately. I found his tone utterly unacceptable and snapped back, “How dare you raise your voice at me!” before promptly ending the call. What an experience!

I had a rather dodgy encounter with a chap named Robert Brown, who seemed to cover his Asian heritage in a cloak of deceit. He proclaimed that my computer was riddled with a virus or ransomware. I received a rather dubious call from a gentleman who sounded Asian but was trying terribly hard to sound American. He insisted he was calling from Microsoft, alleging there were some serious security problems with my computer. What struck me as worrisome was that he seemed to know my partner's name and our home address. To ensure I wasn’t being pulled into a trap, I consulted Microsoft through their online chat service, and they confirmed it was indeed a scam. They advised me to promptly change all my passwords, especially those linked to my finances, and suggested having my ISP perform a network reset. Quite the unsettling experience!

Same rubbish again, I’m an IT and SEO pro and these muppets picked the wrong person to mess with. Some woman called saying my IP was sending spam, so I asked her to tell me my IP. She got it totally wrong. Then she asked how I know my IP, I told her I work for Google and anyway, if I didn’t, I’d just Google ‘what’s my IP’. She then demanded to know what it was, like I’d just hand that over. Told her to get lost.
