Got a call from them twice today, once this morning and another time around an hour ago. They kept asking me for my credit card expiry date but I never gave away any details. We ended up chatting for like 10 minutes with them repeatedly trying to get info, but I stayed tight-lipped. Eventually, I said someone was knocking at my door and then left the phone dangling off the hook. Hopefully this messes up their call success rate big time!

She said they wanted to help stop nuisance calls by recording my voice for verification and asked me to say the expiry date on my debit card. I decided to give her a fake date just to see what she'd do next. After that, she passed me onto a guy with an Asian accent who asked me to confirm the small number under the name on my card - not the long card number, but the account number. I refused immediately as it smelled fishy. When I told them I thought it was a scam, they just hung up. People are trying all sorts these days. Make sure you REPORT this kinda stuff!
