Can someone here explain what GDPR actually means? If you don’t know, then maybe don’t just assume it’s a scam when they ask for some basic security details. It’s not about invading your privacy - they just want to know things like your last payment or how you paid, or to confirm a short code they’ve sent you by text or email to prove you’re the real account owner. Imagine if your provider locked you into a 2-year contract without your consent - you’d be mad, right? So why not just verify who you are and hear them out instead of immediately moaning about it?
