He called up and immediately asked if I owned the place. Didn’t even give him a chance to say more!

I picked up because it was a number from my area. Some bloke called Alex from an energy company asked if I was the house owner. I said, “How would you know that?” and he just laughed and then instantly hung up on me! I reckon it was a cloned number or something because there was a weird delay before he actually came on the line. Watch out for these dodgy calls!
