I reckon it was that annoying smart meter caller because they just ended the call abruptly.

some bloke rang me claiming to be from a firm but he never actually said which one. i tried asking what the call was about but he just went quiet. i told him cheers and hung up. definitely a pretty odd call.

Got a call from a bloke saying he was checking up on some government insulation thing for our loft, said we’d already got it done. Asked him what he meant and he just hung up!
