Got a call from someone claiming I’d signed up for a contest online and wanted to know if I preferred a call or a text if I won. They mentioned a prize of £500. I asked if it was for real and they assured me it was. Since it was a local number and I do enter those sort of things, I said text me. Then out of nowhere they said I’d requested info about funeral plans, which I never did. They just wished me luck and hung up. Strange call!

Got a call from someone claiming it was about loft insulation we never had done. I asked a few questions and then they just hung up on me. Felt like a bit of a dodgy scam to me.
