Over the course of last week, I got 6 calls from 01768 774414, then 3 more yesterday. Out of those, 3 last week and 1 yesterday were just silent. The rest started with someone who sounded Asian but used very English names like David, Edward, and Pauline. They all read from the same script about a problem with my router. When I asked for more info, everyone but Edward hung up straight away. Edward even warned they’d keep calling till I played along! Pretty clear this is some kind of scam since this number isn’t listed on TalkTalk’s official site at all. Feeling really annoyed about it.

All week this bloke with an Asian accent has been ringing me loads every single day, saying he's from TalkTalk. I used to have TalkTalk but quit after they got hacked. I told him I don't own a router or any computer at all and even said I'd report him to the cops. Nowadays, I just hang up straight away and let them keep wasting their credit, then check who called after a bit.

I've decided to include this number on every scam list going. They're pretending to be from TalkTalk, and honestly, I'm past the point of irritation-I’m just intrigued to see what nonsense they'll come up with next. I often end up giving them a piece of my mind, reminding them how pathetic their tactics are.

I got a call from someone who sounded asian, claimed they were calling from TalkTalk about an issue with my router. They asked me to turn my computer on, but when I asked how they knew there was a problem in the first place, they just ended the call.

got a call from a woman claiming she was with talk talk. She said my laptop was riddled with over 50 viruses and that my router was also infected, so i needed to get a new one. When i asked her for my info like my computer name and address, she gave me a fake account number. i told her that number didn’t match anything i had and then she just hung up. don’t ever share your info with anyone like this - total scam!

Someone called saying they were from TalkTalk, but it was a bit fishy. Had a chat once, then told them not to ring again. Still ended up with about six calls in total that day - proper annoying!

She insisted I hop onto my laptop, but I refused. This sparked quite the row, and I’ve decided to ring back on Monday. I mentioned I was struggling with her accent, and she cheekily remarked that my English wasn’t up to scratch either. What a cheeky little thing!

I’ve had quite enough of this lady ringing me up! She claimed to be from TalkTalk and wanted me to hop on my computer and press the Control and Windows keys at the same time.
