Had another call from a bloke claiming to be from Talktalk just yesterday. He said there was an issue with my router and wanted me to get on my computer so he could fix it remotely. I told him I didn’t own a computer (which isn't totally true, but it shut him up pretty quick). Seems like the usual scam trying to get in.

Got a call from someone saying they were Edward, claiming to be from TalkTalk's tech support. Felt a bit fishy to me.

16/05/2016 Around 11:15 this morning, I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from my internet provider. He told me my computer was really slow and offered to fix it for me. I messaged him along for a bit but then just stopped responding. He was trying to convince me to give him access to my computer which seemed really dodgy. Definitely a scam, so be careful. When I tried calling the number back, it said the voicemail box was full.

Got three calls today from the number 01768 774412, and I'm certain it's a SCAM. Around 2.55pm, a woman with an Asian accent said she was from Talk Talk and claimed my router had been infected with 55,000 viruses! I had a feeling it was dodgy but let her carry on a bit. I told her I was busy working and would ring back later, saying I’d check with Talk Talk’s customer service first. I’ve now reported it to Talk Talk, and they’re looking into it. If you happen to get a call from this number, I’d recommend telling your provider so they can look into it too.

Just got a call from 017768 774412 saying they were from my internet company, claiming my computer got hacked. Total scam, so watch out for calls like that!

Got a call around 11:15 this morning from an Asian guy saying he was with my internet company. He said my computer was loading really slow but he could fix it for me. I kept him talking for a bit but eventually just stopped responding. He wanted me to give him remote access to my PC, which I knew was dodgy. Definitely a scam, so watch out! If you ring that number back, you get a message saying the voicemail is full.
