I finally answered after they kept ringing over and over, just tired of it really. At first there was nothing but silence, then suddenly a click followed by a recorded message saying "good-bye". Definitely sounded like one of those scam calls. So I’ve blocked the number on my landline now. These scam calls seriously need to be stopped.

annoying calls keep coming through, just silence and then they hang up. please block these numbers. seriously, Ofcom needs to step up and sort this out!!

They ring me around lunchtime daily, but no one says a word before putting the phone down. It’s really irritating and just a total pain. They really need to be shut down for good.

I've been getting calls from 01704524193 and 01704524194 recently. When I answer, there's just silence - no noise, no talking at all. It's really annoying.

There was no one actually talking to me, but I could hear voices faintly in the back. They claimed to be part of some crime prevention project and seemed to be arranging visits to people's houses. I’m not sure if it was for real or some kind of scam.
