They called me two days running, but as soon as my voicemail kicked in, they just hung up.

Got no one calling me, just some robot voice saying “bye”. I reckon this is some kind of number collecting bot seeing if the number is genuine and picked up by a person, so they can sell it for adverts and such. Brilliant, just another reason I’m glad I ditched the landline!

Someone called me about security alarms, seemed like a genuine person selling to older folks. When I asked them how they found my details, they just hung up. I've since blocked the number.
