Honestly, the police won’t be able to act unless people actually report these scam calls and numbers. Even though they’ve got a special system for logging such messages and scams, it’s no use if it’s empty. Just look up 'Action Fraud' on Google and find the phishing report page on the Police UK website. Have a read through the details and then scroll down to where you can file a report. If more folks took the time to report these dodgy calls and texts, eventually something would get done about it.

Absolute scam call. The police really ought to get a grip on these dishonest people and their dodgy business. Honestly, these sorts of calls are way worse than people moaning about swear words that upset certain easily offended groups. Seriously, c’mon cops, focus on the proper stuff you’re meant to be handling!

Got a call from someone named Nathan Black who said he was with O2. His accent was quite noticeable, seemed like he might be Pakistani or Indian. He was trying to convince me he could knock 20% off my phone bill. Quite suspicious to say the least.

Got a call claiming to be from O2 trying to offer me some sort of “discount code” but only if I gave my details. I kept grilling them for info that legit O2 staff would know, just to see how far they’d go. Ended up being quite amusing - the person on the other end ended up hanging up after maybe a minute!

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up. Then I got a message saying I had a voicemail that lasted 10 seconds, with a link and a phone number to check it out. Something felt off, so I ignored it - seemed like a scam for sure. What’s weird is how quickly they followed up with that text, barely a minute after ringing me. Didn’t waste any time and blocked them straight away.

I received a call from a woman using this number, asserting she was representing O2. Although I am indeed an O2 customer, she couldn't verify my details at all, which I found amusing. I advised her to cease her harassment and fraudulent attempts. She promptly ended the call, and I've now blocked the number.

I’ve received numerous calls from Indian numbers concerning O2’s supposed £35 monthly savings, but I’m not a customer of theirs. Clearly, it’s just spam! To make matters worse, they rang me twice within a mere ten-minute interval. What a nuisance!

I got a call from someone saying they were from o2, telling me about some discount deal. Then they sent a text with a code and asked me to read it back to them over the phone. Turns out they’re trying to get into your account by getting that verification number o2 sends to you. They just straight up ask you for the code so they can hack into your account. Total scam, stayed clear of it.

So, someone called me claiming to be John from either O2 or Auto Network, but their accent was so thick I could barely understand them. When I tried to respond, they just kept repeating the same thing and then suddenly ended the call. After checking other comments here, it looks like this is a known O2 scam.

I received a call from this number, and the individuals on the other end had quite a thick foreign accent. They professed to be representatives of O2, offering me a whopping 40% off my existing O2 contract. The only problem is, I don’t even have a contract with O2! Quite the peculiar encounter, I must say!

I got a call from someone pretending to be o2, saying they had a big discount on my phone bill. Thought it sounded dodgy so I rang o2 directly to check, and yeah, it’s a scam. When they called me again, the bloke on the line got really rude and told me to “f*** off” after I kept saying I wasn’t interested. They even send a code that makes it look legit, but don’t be fooled by it! Keep clear of this nonsense!

I got this automated voice msg, and honestly, it was like she was talking from behind bars or something! I sent it straight to voicemail, so I only heard part of what she was saying, but I figured out it had something to do with a magazine subscription offer.

The phone buzzed a few times and cut off before I could pick up the first time. When it rang again, I did answer, but after staying quiet for around 15 seconds, the caller just ended it. The number looked unfamiliar to me, especially since it came from Brigend, so I reckon it was probably one of those unwanted calls.
