This number's been ringing me a few times now, with someone pretending they're from my bank.

Someone rang me saying they were from O2 and wanted to verify my passcode so they could send me “free accessories” for my iPhone. Later, when I called O2 myself, I found out they’d hacked into my account and ordered a brand new iPhone. Nearly lost nearly £1000 because of it!

Strangely enough, as soon as I block one caller, another numbered nuisance springs up in its place. This particular number is just one in the ongoing saga. Got a call from a guy named 'Micheal' who spoke with an Indian accent, claiming he was ringing on behalf of o2.

Got a call that was saying it was from 02, talking about some discount. It felt a bit real at first, and then they messaged me telling me to ring 202 if I thought it was dodgy, with a 6 digit code included. I tried asking where exactly in the UK she was calling from, but she just ended the call. Pretty clear it was a scam.

A mate told me they called from some “3G dept” or something like that. They kept ringing from loads of different numbers ending in 0025, 0014, 0015, 0016, and a bunch more. Their pitch was about renewing my contract but honestly, it was just a nightmare. In the end, I had no choice but to switch my phone number because it got so bad.

Someone called me with a thick accent, saying something about upgrading my mobile. I wasn’t quite sure what she said at first, so I asked her to say it again, which she did. Then she asked for my name. I told her if she didn’t even know who I was, it sounded fishy and probably a scam, so I just hung up.
