No idea who was calling me, but my BT caller ID blocked that number like 10 times in one day! So annoying.

They called claiming to be from the telephone preference service but that wasn't true. They wanted to get some details from me. Watch out and don’t give out anything personal if you get a call like this - it's a scam.

I don’t usually pick up if I don’t recognise the number, but these folks have rung me quite a few times and just left voicemails where they say hello.

I got a call from some bloke saying he was from a call blocking preference service, but the number showed up as international on my line ID. When I wasn’t very interested, he just hung up on me. I think there’s something called the telephone preference service that stops unwanted calls, but I’ve never heard of any call blocking preference service before. Quite confusing, really.
