Got a call from this number just now but when I picked up, there was nothing but silence. It was pretty early, so I got really worried it might've been someone in my family needing help. Glad I've learnt to be cautious with these calls now!!!

Just got back after a break and discovered loads of missed calls from these lot!! Honestly, they must be ducks in a row cause they totally ignored my final reply... a good ol’ footie whistle. Can't help but smile knowing they use headsets at their job cos it makes my little prank even better. Got my whistle handy again. Let the games begin!!!!!!!!!!

I've been getting calls like this a bunch too, they keep ringing me up like 3 times daily, promising to stop bothering me but they're actually the ones being annoying. I blocked the first number, then they switched to another one, so I had to block that one as well. It’s really frustrating!

Got a ring from that number and they started asking me about spam calls or something. Then out of nowhere, they asked me for my bank info! Some woman with a foreign accent handed me over to a guy who sounded Asian. No clue why they needed my details, so I just ended the call. She kept insisting it wasn’t a scam, but didn’t convince me.

The voice had a sort of foreign accent, maybe Thai or something. Really tried my patience and it’s so annoying. The police really need to crack down on these scammers. Got calls from an Indian call centre and it kinda freaks me out that they seem to know not just my name but my family's too, all linked to my address. They keep ringing from loads of different numbers, which is annoying. I’m really puzzled about how they manage to get hold of an unlisted number like mine. For the past week, my phone’s been ringing non-stop, sometimes twice a day. Each time it’s blokes speaking with strong foreign accents who just don’t get the hint when I say no. They say they’re from the Telephone Preference Service, but it feels like a total con. Honestly, they should be shut down for this.

This number rings asking for someone who doesn't live here, and when I say they’re not around, the caller just hangs up straight away. It happens at least a couple of times every day. You can hear noises and what sounds like Asian accents in the background, so I’m pretty sure it’s some call centre. I've even had a few calls from this number before. Just got a bloke again asking for this same person, and I told him to quit calling as there’s no one by that name here. We’ll see if that actually stops the calls or not...

Got a call claiming to be from Telephone Preference Service, kept going on about some extra charges for calling. Told them I’m already signed up with TPS, which is meant to be free, but they wouldn't drop it so I just ended the call. They keep ringing every day, and my husband told them the same thing. They rang again today, so I said I’d reported them to Action Fraud, then they quickly hung up. They also called from 01623 270178, like they've snapped up a load of numbers to use. Both numbers blocked now. Total rubbish!

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent who somehow knew our address and name. She started going on about stopping annoying calls, then suddenly said my debit card had expired back in 2018. I told her I don’t even have a debit card and she just hung up on me.

This morning I got six calls from someone saying they were with TPM, or some international TPS thing. They kept pushing for my debit card info, even though it’s got no connection to my phone number. The bloke said his name was Alan Johnson, but he sounded Indian and was obviously ringing from a big call centre. Definitely some scam using a UK number to dodge international call blocks. They even phoned me back five times, insisting on getting my sort code and account details. I’ve reported it to actionfraud now.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was calling from some telephone preference management place. I told him his call wasn’t allowed, but he argued it was fine since I was a subscriber and that’s how he got my number. I told him I thought he was talking nonsense and that I’d report him to the cops. When I asked for his number, he gave me 012393914, but 1471 didn’t back it up. Then he just hung up.

This number keeps calling up and asking for my card info, claiming to be from a company that blocks spam calls or sometimes pretending to be from my phone or TV provider, pushing me to renew some sort of membership. They never even get my name right, clearly just trying to scam you. Seriously, don’t give out any of your details. We’ve had it too and have reported them with call logs to the police, who are now investigating it.

They kept pushing for the verification number from my debit card, not credit card though. Strangely, the "verification number" they mentioned was actually my account number. When I wouldn’t give it to them, they just hung up. Then guess what? They had the nerve to call back again this morning!
