Received a call claiming to be from Telephone Preferencing, insisting on offering various services. I made it clear I was already signed up with TPS and that it’s a complimentary service, but he continued to dispute it, so I decided to terminate the call. They persistently ring every single day, and my husband faced the same theatrics. They called once more today, and I mentioned I'd escalated the matter to Action Fraud, which prompted a swift hang-up. They also rang from 01623 270178, so it seems like they’ve acquired multiple numbers. Both have now been blocked. Utterly despicable behaviour!

This morning, I received an astonishing six calls from someone purporting to be from TPM (international TPS). The caller, who introduced himself as Mr Alan Johnson, insisted on acquiring details regarding a debit card that isn't even associated with my phone. To top it all off, the caller was clearly an Indian gentleman working out of a massive call centre. It’s evident that this is a scam cleverly designed to bypass international call restrictions by using a UK number. He had the audacity to ring me back FIVE times, pressing for my sort code and account number. I've already reported the matter to Action Fraud.

I received a call from an Asian gentleman who insisted he was affiliated with a telephone preference management firm. When I informed him that his call was against the rules, he surprisingly maintained that it was perfectly legitimate since I was a subscriber. I thought that was complete nonsense and made it clear that I would be contacting the authorities about his antics. It’s laughable, really, as they can't even manage to pronounce our names correctly! Honestly, they’re nothing but a pack of fraudsters. I find myself bombarded with around three to four calls each day from this number. I've alerted OFCOM on multiple occasions-at least four times, to be precise-but they've been about as useful as a chocolate teapot in a heatwave.
