Some bloke said he was from Microsoft and wanted me to hit some keys on my PC. He said the call was being recorded and accused me of some kind of breach, threatening to send the recording to my local cops. I actually offered to give him the address for the police station. His name was supposedly Michael Joe Wilson - sounds very English but he had a thick foreign accent. He also claimed he’d blocked my Windows.

4/01/2018 @ 06:50am!!!!!! Got a call from someone using a name & saying it was about Microsoft and our computer! I was taken aback and said, "Sorry, what?" I thought maybe it was an urgent call from a mate or family at that hour. Then he started up again - I cut him off quick saying, "DO YOU REALISE WHAT TIME IT IS?" He replied, "Pardon?" I repeated myself a bit more annoyed than before. Then the line went dead & I hung up straight away!! Really, what's the use of being on the TPS?

Someone rang me saying they was from Microsoft and wanted me to switch on my computer. I've had calls like this before, where they say there's something wrong with my device. When I say I don't have a computer, they try to say it’s a tablet, iPad, or phone instead. I just ended the call. They've also blamed my internet connection at times. I once contacted my internet provider and they confirmed it’s a con. Don’t fall for these scammers, they're just after your info.
