I asked some questions and either got passed to some 'supervisor' who was clueless or just got cut off! Feels a bit dodgy to me, a real business wouldn’t just drop the call like that surely. Motormend have been calling non stop, just like everyone else here says about car accident claims. When I tried to ask questions, they either passed me to some 'supervisor' who couldn't give me clear answers or just cut the call off! Doesn't seem right for a legit company to end a call like that.

Honestly, I’d steer well clear of these lot. And remember, those “no win, no fee” firms often hit you with hefty charges that could end up costing more than any settlement you get!

Some bloke rang me up saying he’d sorted my car rental, which was absolute rubbish. Even when I told him he was wrong, he kept insisting it was true. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I keep getting loads of calls from Manchester, like maybe 40 or so. The last one was from a firm called Motormend. When I asked them how they got my details, they said it was from my insurance company. The numbers that have been ringing me are 0161 808 7557, 0161 974 3530, 0161 808 5778, and 0161 808 7557 again. Apparently, they know about a crash I was in. I've told them I don't want to make any injury claims, but they just keep pestering me.

This person called saying I was entitled to some payout from a recent accident, but I knew right away it was rubbish since I had no injuries and wasn’t making any claims with my insurer. They asked for details like when and where the crash happened, so I gave them the info to keep them quiet. Then they told me to wait on the line, so I just ended the call. After that, they rang me about five times that same day.

First off, this is definitely a dodgy call centre, something to do with car crash claims. They use loads of different names and phone numbers. Don’t even get drawn in by chatting to them. If you need to check, ask them straight out for their company registration number - they’ll avoid it like the plague.

Just to add on to my previous remarks, I've been getting a slew of calls lately. When I probed about the source of their information, they claimed it was from the insurers of a third party. This instantly set off alarm bells for me, especially since I’m aware they operate out of Lithuania. They insisted they couldn't share any specifics until I initiated a case against them. It’s utter nonsense! When I requested the company registration number from the caller, they were completely stumped. I ended up telling them I was convinced it was a con and ended the call. Haven't heard from them since!

I’ve just had a rather dodgy encounter with First Response, which seems to be a bit of a con when it comes to insurance claims. Quite how they managed to get their hands on details about my recent accident is beyond me, but they appeared to know a startling amount. They claimed that my insurance company had earmarked at least £1,500 for each passenger involved! No paperwork or anything-I simply had to assure them verbally that the incident had caused me some distress. They even mentioned that payment would be made via cheque, without needing any of my personal details. Quite fishy, if you ask me!
