Some lady named Kate rang me up about upgrading my O2 phone contract. Pretty sure it was a scam tho since I left O2 ages ago, like 15 years, but kept my number. The call was really crackly and her English wasn’t great either.

I received a phone call inquiring whether I was aware of a PPI claim I supposedly filed, which apparently I hadn’t received any tax on. When I probed them for more information, they seemed to lack specifics about this so-called claim. Instead, they demanded I verify my personal details before they would offer any further assistance. The caller was incredibly tenacious, making multiple efforts to pry my information from me, even after I expressed that I didn’t recall submitting any PPI request at all. To top it off, she became quite irritable and rude, which I found utterly amusing. Honestly, it was rather entertaining to keep her on the line for a good six minutes - truly made my day!

Somebody called themselves Zoe and was going on about a ‘tax refund’. The connection was awful and sounded nowhere near Manchester. I just ended the call.
