Somebody called claiming to be from the national lottery, telling me they’d send me 10 free tickets for the Christmas Eve 2022 draw. They then asked if I wanted to join the lottery between February and April, saying the tickets only cost 5p per line. Honestly, it’s clearly dodgy - the national lottery charges £2 a line, there’s no way they’d sell tickets that cheap. The weird part is they knew my name and address, which made me a bit uneasy.

This person called saying they were from some review team. When I asked what exactly they were reviewing, all they did was repeat my name and kept checking if it was really me on the phone. Then suddenly they just hung up on me.

I got loads of calls on my phone, kept ringing over and over. Finally picked up after a few tries thinking it might be important. Turned out to be some telemarketers who got really annoyed and started arguing when I told them I wasn’t bothered. They've been blocked now.
