This bloke claimed he was calling from O2. Since I’ve been a customer with them for ages, he said I could get some kind of bonus. He reckoned I was paying £25 a month, which is way off as I hardly ever top up more than £10. Told him he’d told me the same thing earlier. Said cheers and ended the call.

I got a call like that too from a Scottish bloke. He never got as far as asking for my bank details but kept trying to find out my date of birth and how long I’d been at my address. He said he needed the info to open up an O2 account or something like that. I just hung up on him.
