Some woman said she was with 02, but it really didn’t sound right - she told me I could get free prizes as a loyal customer and asked how old I was. I hung up before she even had a chance to ask for my card details or anything.

Had this number ring me a few times, answered and heard a bloke talking with some noises in the background. When I said hello, he claimed to be from o2, said hello again and then just hung up. Sounds like a dodgy call trying to get o2 info. Wouldn't bother answering it.

This number called me and I picked up, tried to find out more and played along a bit. Looks like it’s from Longsight in Manchester. Some bloke, Abul Aziz, runs a few places like takeaways and restaurants. He’s involved in all sorts - mobiles, cars, accidents, even pawnbroking. He gave me his mobile, 07404 710358, said if I need anything done only he can sort it. Pretty funny, really. I’m gonna try to dig up more about his business locations, hopefully over the next few days.

These lot are scammers trying to trick you into giving your card info. They start by making the O2 site send you a code to seem legit. All they do is punch your number into the O2 site. After that, they'll probably ask for your payment details. Watch out!

Total scam! Don’t be fooled by this. They ask for your full card number and the 3 digits on the back, pretending it’s “just an identity check.” We all know that’s just how payments are done. They got really rude when I refused, trying to sound legit by saying they were from O2, but definitely a scam. Proper pushy and shady behaviour.
