Definitely seems like a dodgy call, probably a scammer posing as someone from O2, Carphone Warehouse, or talking about iPhones. Best to steer clear!

I received a call on my partner's mobile, as she has a disability, and I decided to answer it. The caller was relentlessly trying to sell me an iPhone for around £35 a month. They initially claimed to represent EE, but then changed their tune, stating they were affiliated with O2, Vodafone, and Three. When they remarked on my status as a valued customer, I pointed out that I had only had the phone for a month, when in reality it's been two years. I informed the caller, who spoke with a noticeable accent, that they were in violation of PECR regulations by calling, which could land them a hefty fine of up to 20 million Euros or 4% of their annual revenue. Not even slightly bothered, she just brushed it off, so I kept reiterating the legal repercussions. I mentioned that if they were indeed a partner of EE, they should have checked the TPS register, meaning they'd be liable for a fine as well.

Beware of a scammer pretending to be associated with O2. They're attempting to fish for your passcode, presumably to reset your account and make unauthorised purchases. It’s painfully obvious that this is a con. Stay alert!

I received a call earlier from a number based in Llandovery, Wales. The person on the line had the audacity to say they were representing the Carphone Warehouse. Naturally, I had my suspicions and figured it was likely a scam. He was trying to reel me in with promises of some brilliant phone discounts. Without a second thought, I decided to block the number.

Received a call purporting to be from O2, my mobile service provider. However, the whole conversation felt overly scripted-combined with a dodgy signal, they ended up having to repeat their initial spiel far too many times. This sort of behaviour often screams cold-caller or potential scammer to me.
