Got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky, saying my internet was hacked and being used for some kind of fraud. She told me to open things on my phone or computer. There was loads of noise in the background and the woman had an Indian accent. I suspected it was a scam straight away so I asked her for her contact number. She tried to give one but ended up hanging up on me. Don’t share any details with these people, it’s obviously a scam.

The woman on the line claimed to be from Amazon, discussing an order I apparently never placed. As soon as I mentioned that I hadn’t made any purchases, she abruptly hung up.
