Got a dodgy call that was obviously a scam, so I hung up straight away.

They called me like three times in one day, pushing this deal for the Iphone 13 Pro at £29 a month. I told them I couldn't really afford that, so they dropped the price bit by bit till it got down to £22 a month. Did the maths though, £22 monthly over 24 months with unlimited calls and data, and it didn’t even seem like it would cover the price of the phone. I just had to say no. Feels like a proper scam to me.

Got a second ring from someone claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, sounded like a strong Indian accent. Pretty clear they snagged my info since my contract’s almost up, no surprise there. I’ll sort it when I’m ready, cheers all the same. If your contract’s ending, brace yourself for this kind of thing. Blocked ’em straight away.
