Today, I got a call from this number wanting to talk to my partner about a washing machine warranty. I said I usually handle that stuff myself. They didn’t even know my name and asked if I wanted to renew the warranty. The company I normally use does it automatically anyway. Then they asked me for bank details to update the direct debit. I fibbed and told them I didn’t have my details nearby and would ring back later. After that, I phoned the real company I deal with and they told me it definitely wasn’t them calling me.

Got a silent call earlier, but when I rang the number back, an automated voice said it was from 'J MARNEY'. Very strange!
