Got a call from someone saying they were checking on my washing machine cover renewal. They already had my address, then asked for my account number to 'confirm'. I said he should give me the number instead, but he claimed he couldn’t due to privacy rules. He kept pushing me to share my details though. I told him to just send me something in the post. When I rang the number back, all I got was hold music.
