Received a cheeky call from Scotland earlier! It was an odd lady probing me about a car crash I can confidently say I’ve never had. I politely informed her that she’d clearly got the wrong end of the stick, but she just wouldn’t take no for an answer. In the end, I had to be rather curt to put an end to it. Did a bit of sleuthing on the number afterwards and discovered it’s been marked as a dodgy scam!

I got a call about some car crash claim where they said I was a passenger in a small fender bender. I kept telling them it wasn’t me and asked them to take my number off their list. Honestly, it was tough getting a word in - they kept pushing, asking loads more questions “for their records” about a crash that never happened. It got pretty annoying so I just ended the call. I bet they still have my number saved somewhere though.

They were utterly vague and couldn’t provide a shred of information regarding their compliance with GDPR. All they could muster was that they were relying on whatever scant information they had, which, frankly, was non-existent. The thing is, I’ve never been involved in a road accident at all. This whole scenario feels like a blatant scam.
