The bloke said his name was Alex, calling about some government scheme for going green with your home. He asked if I had loft insulation, but I told him I don't even have a loft. Then he just cut me off right there. Strange call.

I received a call where the person claimed they weren’t trying to sell me anything. He then proceeded to inform me that I had been flagged as a homeowner who qualifies for a Government grant aimed at reducing emissions. When I asked him for the name of the homeowner he mentioned, which he should have known if they were contacting me about it, he curtly thanked me for my time and promptly ended the call. Quite the odd interaction!
