9 yearsI got a call from this number but with a 3 tacked on the end. Didn't know who it was so I just let it ring out.10 yearsI received a call from this number earlier today, stating that my computer had been accessed during the early hours, between 3 and 4 am. It seemed to me that the caller, who had a distinctly Asian accent, was fishing for me to claim it wasn’t me, likely so they could concoct some charge against me. Instead, I just went along and admitted it was indeed me using the computer. They are incredibly rude; the moment you utter something they take issue with, they just cut the line. It's hardly surprising that individuals like this face the backlash they do. Complete imbeciles, if you ask me - they ought to be sent packing, and I’d gladly be there to see them off at the airport!10 yearsI've been getting calls since 7 am from someone claiming to be with Microsoft.Microsoft10 yearsSaid she was from BT tech support but her English was really hard to understand. The number didn’t show up anywhere I checked. Definitely a scam, watch out!BT10 yearsRang me twice this morning, but each time I picked up, it was dead air on the other end. Clearly got the hallmarks of a scam!10 yearsGot a call from this number earlier, some guy called "Daniel" with an Indian accent claiming he was from Windows saying there was an issue with my Windows account. I don’t even own a computer and if I did, I wouldn’t give my landline as a contact. Could hear a lot of noise like a busy call centre in the background.Daniel10 yearsGot a call this morning on my work phone from a guy who sounded Asian, which already made me wary. He claimed to be from a Microsoft authorised dealer based in Paddington - yeah, that was his exact line. Said Microsoft had told him to reach out to all Windows users and started asking me to press certain keys. I just pretended to go along with it but didn’t actually do anything, then put him on hold, and he quickly hung up. Pretty smart ruse, whatever the scam was, it almost sounded legit. WARNING: don’t get tricked by it!MicrosoftPaddingtonLondon10 yearsI received a call from a woman named Fiona, who had an Indian accent. She claimed to be calling from BT, and told me that someone had been using my internet overnight without my knowledge. She insisted that I log in so she could rectify the situation. I mentioned that I couldn’t quite grasp what she was saying and requested a written letter instead, so my son could assist me with the matter. Suddenly, the call ended abruptly. I'm quite certain it was a scam.FionaBT10 yearsI’m so fed up with these scam calls, I let him have it with every rude and racist thing I could think of, even dragged in some Islamophobic remarks. After perusing the other remarks, it appears that BT ought to take action regarding this issue!BT10 yearsGot a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying I was owed £190 for a service I never signed up for. These fraudsters have been pestering me for years. When I told them I don’t have a bank account, they suggested opening a Western Union account. I’ve already reported them to Western Union.
