Today, I received a call from a chap who didn't sound local at all, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. He was all too eager to promise me a special promotion for a brand new iPhone. His pitch included an upfront payment of a hundred quid, followed by monthly instalments of just thirty quid. It was all far too good to be true, and it's clear this fellow is nothing but a scam artist peddling falsehoods.

These have to be Northern Ireland scam calls. I've had two from 400024, and one each from 400021 and 400025. They also ring from 01369 400021, 400024 and 400025 numbers. Looks like these lot use quite a few similar numbers.

So, I spotted two numbers that looked a bit dodgy to me - one was 0136940023 and the other was 01369400024, which is just a smidge different. Seems a bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a call and picked up thinking I'd waste their time a bit, but they just dropped the call after about 5 seconds. Could hear some chatter in the background though.

So these people rang me up and straight away wanted me to flash my backside. Problem was, mine's quite small so I kept it to myself. Then they insisted I mail them a grand in notes! I told them to quit bothering me, but the very next day they turned up at my door and kept giving my bum a good smacking. Honestly, they were alright people, nothing to fret about at all.

I'd really advise not to go ahead with the non-fault claims unless you've got solid proof like a doctor’s note or hospital records. The people handling these claims dig into every single detail, and the lawyers working for the non-fault firms can really twist things around, which might make it look like you’re trying to scam them. You could find yourself facing court and even being convicted of fraud, not to mention the huge expenses that come with it.

Today alone I’ve had three different calls, all dodgy. Didn’t even bother answering the other two, but looked them up afterwards just in case. Be careful, these scammers seem to be everywhere!

Got a call from a guy saying he was with EE, but his English was really hard to follow, sounded Indian. I’m not even with EE, so I guess it was just a random sales call. Ended the call pretty fast since I couldn’t understand much of what he was saying.
