Yeah, it defo was the same number but I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Some bloke claimed he was calling from O2, offering a top deal for my PAYG sim. Well, he got that wrong straight away! I told him he was a scammer and to stop ringing me.

Right after I put a block on ‭01639 618272‬ (definitely a scammer), I got another call from the same number just seconds later.

Some guy with an Asian accent called me for the fifth time this month, saying he’s from o2 and wanting to talk about a sim card I never asked for. I just blocked him straight away cos it’s obviously a dodgy scam trying to annoy people. Didn’t give him any info but he already had my name, which is pretty creepy. The so-called Telephone Preference Service is a joke, it never stops these calls. Only legit firms follow the rules, so scammers and pest callers always find a way in.

O2 scam calling - watch out, they try real hard to trick you into sharing info. If you answer, just play along and feed them rubbish about yourself. They can get quite pushy (which honestly makes me laugh) once you start calling them out on their nonsense!

Annoying call claiming I’d ordered an O2 SIM card and that it was being sent to my place. Thing is, I never ordered anything and they’d got the address all mixed up anyway. Didn’t share any details and I’ve reported it to O2 just to be safe.

Got a random call from some scammer outta the blue.

They said they were from O2, said I’d entered a draw to get a free O2 sim and given my number to win Asda vouchers - which I absolutely never did. They even had my proper email, which I’m sure I wouldn’t use for any contests. Then they asked what network I was with. Some dodgy folks from Ireland pretending to be O2 calling, trying to get your bank info. It's definitely a scam, so just block the number.

Got a call from someone claiming to be 02 offering loads of deals, which nearly got me since i just switched from 02 to Vodafone. But the bloke on the phone, sounded Irish and clearly from some call centre, kept laughing and couldnt stop giggling, so i just hung up. Luckily no harm done, they sounded proper daft!

Someone said they were from O2 trying to get me to sign a contract, but I told them I’m already with O2. They said their system wasn’t working, so I popped into an O2 shop nearby and passed the phone to the manager. Then these lot suddenly said they were from EE and just hung up. Honestly, these folks are scammers, just aiming to snatch your bank info by pretending they need to run credit checks for contracts.
