I didn’t pick up as I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If it’s some company wasting money or trying to scam people, they can stop calling my phone. Everyone checks who called them these days anyway.

Some bloke said he was with O2 but wouldn't tell me his name. As soon as I mentioned I was with O2 too, he just sighed and ended the call. They rang me three more times in the next half day, so I just blocked the number.

I received a call from O2 earlier today, and the chap on the line was quite pleasant. When I mentioned that I'm already an O2 customer, he informed me that my number had been selected for a fantastic 30% discount on a pay-as-you-go SIM. I politely declined the offer, and he responded graciously, wishing me a lovely day.

Got a call from a woman saying she was from 02. She asked if I was on pay as you go or a contract, then said I’d apparently applied for a SIM and wanted to know who it was for if I was on a contract. Didn’t get far with it - just said thanks and ended the call. I have two contracts with 02 and they’ve never phoned me like that before. Feels dodgy, like they’d try to get my bank details if I’d stayed on the line. Watch out for this one!

Got a call from a woman saying she was from 02. She asked if I was on PAYG or a contract, then tried to tell me I’d supposedly applied for a SIM and needed to confirm who it was for if I had a contract. I didn’t bother with it, just told her have a nice day and ended the call. Definitely wasn’t 02 - I've got two contracts with them and they’ve never called me like that. Be warned, if I’d kept chatting, they’d probably start asking for my bank details or something dodgy.

Someone rang me from this number saying they were with 02. They told me it was about a competition I supposedly joined to win an iPhone. I know for sure I didn’t enter anything like that, so I just ended the call.

I didn’t pick up. I joined this product review site (dumb move, won’t do it again!!) where they ask you to mark a bunch of “promoters” surveys with yes or no. I said no to every single one. Looking at these comments, it’s 02 calling, which I’m sure I said no to - not interested at all. Don’t bother answering this number, just block it so they don’t mess with your time. If I do pick up, I just stay quiet and let them fume, it’s actually quite funny. You’re wasting my time, so I’m wasting yours, simple as that.

I didn’t pick up, don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know. Saw some other comments saying it’s linked to O2, but I’m not with O2 and never have been, although I do remember doing a survey about O2 sim deals and ticking 'no contact'. I reckon that might be related. I blocked the number straight away. Blocking numbers is super easy, just look it up if you’re unsure. Also use t####er ID, it’s great for weeding out scam calls, but this one slipped through, even after using the app for a few years now.

Its proper 02 making calls, ive noticed theyre snatching numbers off game sites and those survey ones, doesnt matter if tell them you dont want any call backs about a sim.
